Supervision

I am a specialist accredited supervisor with BACP with extensive experience providing supervision in private practice, the NHS, and organisational settings. I work with practitioners from a wide range of modalities and currently deliver supervision nationally for the NHS, alongside supporting a national charity.

I recognise that every practitioner is unique, with different needs, goals, and contexts. My approach is therefore tailored to you—supporting both your professional practice and personal development. Alongside my clinical experience, I bring insight from running a successful counselling business and hold a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership, which can be particularly valuable if you are developing or managing your own practice.

I view the supervisory relationship as multifaceted, where your needs are considered alongside those of your clients and your wider professional environment. As therapists, it’s vital that we value ourselves and maintain a healthy balance between our work and personal lives.

High-quality supervision is something I deeply value in my own practice, and I see it as an essential part of ethical and effective therapeutic work. I believe supervision is a collaborative process in which we continually learn from one another. Our work together is not limited to client material; it includes you as the supervisee, bringing all aspects of yourself—professional, personal, and organisational—into the space.

I aim to offer a supportive yet appropriately challenging environment, where you feel safe to reflect, grow, and develop. My intention is to walk alongside you in your professional journey.

I offer a free 30-minute introductory meeting via Microsoft Teams. This gives us an opportunity to explore your needs, expectations, and see whether we are a good fit to work together. Ongoing supervision is charged at £105 for a 1.5-hour session.

Sessions can take place either in person at my office in central Chichester or online via Teams. Online supervision provides flexibility, accessibility, and can reduce time and costs associated with travel and parking.
